Are you a builder exhibiting your custom automotive creations at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas? Do you know a builder in the industry that deserves some serious recognition? While the annual SEMA Show is a playground for industry professionals and an amazing platform for builders to showcase their work, the Specialty Equipment Market Association is adding another event for exhibitors and show-participants alike to the 2014 show lineup. It’s called SEMA Ignited and it will take place after the famed SEMA Cruise on the evening of Friday, November 7th. To kick off the event, a panel of automotive editors will select 10 builders’ creations that they think deserve a bit of extra notice.These top 10 vehicles will then be put up on stage at SEMA Ignited, a televised post-show event taking place at the High Roller observation wheel in the LINQ entertainment district. But that’s not all. In addition to being having their creation featured as top SEMA Show vehicle, each of the 10 builders will be up for the SEMA Battle of the Builders trophy, which will recognize the best SEMA Show car of the year.
Being produced by SEMA, the SEMA Ignited event aims to build consumer excitement and awareness of all the great people and vehicles gathered in Las Vegas for the annual SEMA Show. It will also give some of the industry’s most creative and talented builders an extra chance to show what they’ve got to an industry full of enthusiasts outside of the Trade-Only event.
