This year was the 4th Annual Aftershock Car & Truck show thrown by the Cen Cal Aftermath crew. Aftershock is a great event due to its central location in Corcoran, California allowing easy access for custom enthusiasts from Nor Cal, Cen Cal, and So Cal to all come together in one central area and show off their rides and enjoy the summer weather. Held in the downtown main street of small town Corcoran, the venue is a nice break from the traditional big fair ground locations allowing for a more laid back environment.

It’s definitely a family affair when it comes to putting on an event like this and everyone pitches in. The Aftermath guys and gals (special thanks to Lisa and Kendra) all come together with family and friends to help throw an event that brings in everything from custom trucks to hot rods, customs, and lowriders. Even the occasional custom motorcycle and Lift’d truck could be spotted in the rows of modified vehicles. This year there were a little more than 300 registered show rides with quite a few traveling from as far as Texas, which is up from last year as the custom community continues to help and support each other’s efforts to keep the scene alive for the next generation.

There were live bands and a beer garden, not to mention, plenty of local restaurants offering lots of great food choices for the whole family. Great weather, killer venue, and a local town that supports the event – this has all the makings of being the next huge truck show to take over the West Coast. We just hope that there’s more room to expand as the popularity of the show increases and continues to fill up the small town of Corcoran. We had a blast and got to check out some new rides, so you know we’ll be back! Mark your calendars for the 2016 show and we’ll see you there.
