This year’s Battle Drag Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show was one for the books. This year the show was held at a new location since it had outgrown the previous grounds, now held in New Caney, TX (which is 15 minutes north of Houston) at AV Bull Salas Park there is plenty of room for growth. Perfect location, weather, and rides – this show truly has something for everyone!

With more than 300 registered vehicles and 2,000 plus spectators, this year’s event was chock full of some of the finest rides from all over Texas, with some venturing from as far as Oklahoma, Utah, and New Mexico. Definitely worth the trip, both near and far as Battle Drag is one of the most laid back Texas shows where friends gather early summer to catch up on new mods, rides, and upcoming happenings for the season. Awards for this show were a “Top 75” with custom printed skate decks and the “Best Ofs” were some killer custom airbrushed electric guitars painted by Maxed Out Designs.

Sponsors this year included Solo Films DVD, Mad Gear, Intro Wheels, Slam Specialties, Maxed Out Designs, Chaotic Rods and Customs, KIK and Gooch’s Custom Pinstriping. Events included the always hilarious brain freeze contest and the annual $1,000 bikini contest where Misty the Model was crowned Miss Battle Drag and went home with the purse. Another really cool thing that Battle Drag does for show participants is every vehicle entry receives one free raffle ticket with a chance to win some really nice prizes, including a brand new set of Intro Wheels. This year’s lucky winner of the ever sought after billet wheels was Brandon Eubanks of Dallas TX. Stay tuned and be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s event as this is definitely one you don’t want to miss!
